Love
You’ve just solved the puzzle, and now you’re ready to discover a beautiful tradition from our Catalan Culture.
This tradition is called castellers: human towers made of people who climb on each other’s shoulders. It began in the 18th century as a festive dance, which originally depicted scenes from the Passion of Jesus Christ, and over time, it evolved into what it is now, becoming a symbol of unity, courage, and trust.
Some towers have even reached ten levels high—an incredible sight!
But what does this have to do with your wedding today?
The base of the tower, which we call the ‘pinecone’, represents your roots: your families, your friends, and all the experiences that shaped you. From this strong foundation, you began to build the first levels together—the moments you shared, the laughter, the discoveries, and the love that brought you here.
And today, at the very top of this tower, we celebrate your marriage. This is the proud summit of all you have built so far, and the starting point of everything you will continue to create together.
Just like the castellers, you may face challenges ahead. But if you hold on to each other, balance your strengths, and keep building side by side, every new “castle” will rise stronger and more beautiful than the one before.
Castellers stand for strength, balance, courage, wisdom—and above all, Love. These are the same values that will guide your journey as a couple.
Bojan and Vesna, our wish for you is that when you look back on your story, this wedding day will always be remembered as one of the proudest and happiest levels in your tower of love.
We are deeply grateful to share this moment with you.
With all our affection,
Hilari & Montserrat
